'Woodpecker' is short and dry. There are two main ideas, one rhythmic, which functions as a refrain, and one melodic, which features in the episodes. The music uses an eight note scale, C#, D, E, F, G#, A, B, C, with semitones and minor thirds characterizing the harmony. |
