Maud Hodson was born in 1972 and lives in Leytonstone, east London. She studied at Manchester University, where her composition tutor was John Casken. Maud regularly performs with her cello in solo, chamber and orchestral concerts.Maud's music has been played by children’s groups, amateur orchestras including Hertfordshire Chamber Orchestra and Composers’ Orchestral Project, the London Sinfonietta, Nash Ensemble, Lindsays, Goldberg Ensemble, members of the Steve Martland Band and Sounds Positive. Maud’s recent arrangements include a final, third movement for Beethoven’s Eyeglass Duo for viola and cello. She is also a freelance music typesetter. maud@maud.co.uk |
