Beethoven Eyeglass Duo in E flat for viola and cello with new third movement Beethoven's Duo 'with two obbligato eyeglasses', WoO32 was written in 1796-7, probably for Beethoven himself to play with his friend Nikolaus Zmeskall von Domanovecz. The manuscript contains just two movements, and fragments of a third. In order to provide a satisfying work to perform, I have arranged a movement from the third of Beethoven's three duos for clarinet and bassoon, WoO27. For this movement and the orginal two, I have added dynamics and slurs, as there are none in the manuscript. This arrangement was first performed on 14th May 2006, in Long Ditton, by Keith Berry (viola) and Maud Hodson (cello). Both score and parts are printed on good-quailty, heavy-weight paper. The score has a card cover. You can buy securely using Paypal using your credit or debit card. You don't need to have a Paypal account. Please email me if you would prefer to pay by cheque (UK customers only).
